Pitch Perfect  (2012)

Storyline: The Barden Bellas are an all-girls a cappella singing group. After failing at last year’s finals, they are forced to regroup. Among the new girls is Beca, who wants to be a DJ. She only joins The Bellas because of her father. She starts liking Jesse, from the rival all-male a cappella group, The Treblemakers, against whom she has to compete at the annual a capella competition, the ICCAs.

Actors: Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow

My Review: An easy-going girl comedy. There are lots of jokes, but I can’t see what’s funny about vomiting. Other than that, it was a quite nice film, lots of singing. What I didn’t like about it, was ist very predictable ending. I never went like: “Whoa, couldn’t see that one coming!”. (!!!SPOILER!!!) I mean, you know the story: On one side, the leader doesn’t like her (or her attitude), then she leaves and comes back when they really need her. Wohoo. Beca saves the day. On the other side a guy falls in love with her, she gets all weird and leaves him, but then, at the end, of course they get back together. But now it sounds like I hated the film! I really liked it! It’s very funny. So, over all: Watch it, it’s quite good.

Something I love about this film: Fat Amy

My stars:

Humor: 4.5/5

Action: 1/5

Love: 3.5/5

Horror: 0/5

In All: 3.5/5

This is my opinion on the film, so that doesn’t mean everyone thinks that way. If you want to, you can post your own stars, too 🙂
